no, it's not bad to start kiting on your own, PROVIDED YOU HAVE 'COMMON SENSE':
don't land with stretched leges ever (in any sport)
don't do it upwind from obstacles
..... in gusty conditions
... offshore winds
.... crowded beaches, people downwind
.... without making yourself familiar with releases
VOILA !!! common sense!
i know, not all hv it. YES, THEY need instructions
we started 5 years ago, bought a 'how to' dvd and talked to the lads on the beach for more details. NO WORRIES :)))

c est completement con voila le genre de video qui donne une mauvais image du kite apres on va nous dire c est dangereux parce qu il y en a qui fond n importe quoi

C’est exactement la raison pourquoi le titre de la vidéo est "Comment NE PAS ...".
C'est l'une des vidéos que j'utilise pour démontrer qu’on ne doit pas y commencer sans prendre de cours.
