  • Hi, please, can u write me what is the size of the grado box exactly if u have it....

    Tnx

  • @FANINSMON sorry i don't have it readily available to measure.

  • wow man, you CAN NOT drive these from an ipod...not for anyother reason than you purely shouldn't...also if thats as loud as open backed earphones go, they are clearly having trouble being driven. Still kudos on your choice of headphones. should look in to the alessandro MS2, very similar (they are modders) and perhaps even better.

  • @audiophilicreviews well you can quite happily do it, as in they serve their function, i do however agree that they should not be used as such. they were designed to be used with a quality amplifier and a high fidelity source, which is the environment in which they excel.

  • Please people these SR325's outclass DrDre STUDIO headphones on too many levels to list.Only area the Dr Dre Studio winns is sound isolation.

Built quality, sound quality(transparency, neutrality, detail, timbre and dynamics among others),the Studiuo are not bad headphones they are quite descent. But...even the SR60 has the Studio's beat in SQ !

I have the full attire of Grado headphones including the in ear GR8's and I can tell you YouTubers try the Grado...you will hear true fidelity.

  • in every respect yes, please do not waste your money on that piece low quality, overpriced gimick, you will not hear what the artist intended for you to hear, simply a version distorted by the headphones

  • @kevinpatrickfarley not completely, the fact that they cover a wider range means they're also at ease with the usual range of frequency, more smooth ! And if you wanna have a real hi-fi sound on the go, there is very much better source than iPod (source that will allow you to load FLAC, WAV, etc with very good electronics, like Cowon's)

  • Nice review, thinking of picking up a set of these today.

  • Btw I can feel the leakage from your "i" device. The SR325is still sound like really good computer speakers.

  • Omg, Dr. Dre's are like Bose. Complete utter garbage. I don't even have Grado SR325is. I got Sr80i and those are mountains of levels better than Dre's studios. What's the point of active noise reduction if the Dre Studios leaks as almost as much as the SR80i.

  • i don't understand:can you use it with an Ipod?

  • @ChickenVendetta yes they would be perfect imho, although the slight issue as far as portability goes is they can become uncomfortable after extended use, and they are open back, so everyone else will hear your music too.

  • british pronouns gray dough, we call it grah dough ;)

  • @chuckmanbob On my iPod, (2005 Classic version) I run Apple Lossless files from my iPod, into a FiiO E7 portable headphone amplifier, and then to the headphones. Would these headphones be a good match for a portable rig like that?
