In this 4th video in the series, We've arrived at Paliku Cabin at dusk. The crickets are singing and I play a few notes on my flute. I added my song "Who Am I?" to the video track. We had hiked ten miles, from the sparsely vegetated Sliding Sands Trail (#1 in series) to a lush rain forest at top Kaupo Gap. Can you feel the peace....?

  • I remember being here, at this cabin, in 1969. We visited the other cabins, as well. We trekked through this volcano thinking we had somehow arrived on another planet. One of the most spiritual experiences I've ever had.

  • Hi Grannynara: Thanks for your comment. So glad toknow someone appreciates it. I'm moving right now and packing stuff up and don't have time this week to check out your videos but i'll do it soon. Check out my most recent video (Aug 09) called Maui2. I think you'll like it because I filmed at Launipoko Beach, Mala Wharf and the Lahaina Library with my song "Maui". Love and Aloha.... Harmony9

  • I remember I played a flute, too. I was 19 years old. Someone made me a bamboo flute, and I took it everywhere with me. I was also asking "who am I," as well as "where did I come from," you know, all that deep stuff.
