2 finger. The goal here was to take a more improvisational approach to the rhythmic, metrical and melodic components of the song. I love hearing the old timers "open up" banjo songs in this way by playing in open rather than closed patterns. So here I am trying my hand at it. Who knows?maybe one day I will actually become proficient at it.

  • This is awesome stuff. I have spent an afternoon listening to 'Bayrum78's' songs. I consider this...time very well spent.

If you consider requests---I'd enjoy hearing 'Bayrum78' versions of 'I DON'T WANNA GROW UP' and/or 'MURDER IN THE RED BARN.'
