Random Shiny Abra Encounter (Emerald)

My fourth random shiny! =D

While playing through Emerald, I decided to get a Sableye for the second gym (None of the gym leaders pokemon can hit a Sableye because it is ghost type). And while I was trying to find a Sableye, I found a shiny Abra! At first I didn't know it was shiny because shiny Abra don't look much different. But then I saw that the color was a little different, and then it hit me! I was so glad I still had that great ball that that guy gives you in the begining of the game. I was so afraid that it would teleport, but I caught it! =D It is bold (+defense, -attack). Not a horrible nature. It doesn't lower sp.attack, or speed, so i'm happy. I'm not sure if I am going to play through the game with it and fix the EV's with the EV reducing berries on Platinum, or just wait to EV train it on Emerald. And I never did find that Sableye. I guess Shinies are more common than Sableye's lol.

How do I train an abra with only the teleport move?!?!?!?!

Send it into battle, and then switch is out for a stronger Pokemon. They will share the exp. You'll have to do that until it evolves into Kadabra at lv.16 and learns confusion.

You simply hit a Shiny frame. So you were very lucky. Finding a shiny in Emerald is quite different from all the other games becuase it doesn't go by 1/8192. It goes by timing...

Yea I know. I wasn't going for a shiny though, and I didn't know my shiny frame. So it's more legit than emerald rgn pokemon in my book.

wow, ive played fire red for over 4 years now and I never found a shiny untill today, it was a lv. 67 shiny kadabra i was so happy:DD

I found my first shiny ever a couple weeks ago: a shiny Kadabra. Yeah, that fucker teleported. And yeah, I fuckin' raged.
