Maize farmers in the North Rift Region are expressing fears of being left out in the current planting season following the shortage of maize seeds in the country. They now want the Ministry of Agriculture to address the issue without further delays as their failure to plant would have a significant impact in food production.

  • Why are these reports ever so so so shallow?? This problem has been going on for how long, a month now? So why are the media reports shallow and lacking of substance? When are we getting the right people being interviewed by media? How about acreage planted already, acreage left behind, harvest estimates, harvest shortfalls; how about stories of maize sold? Anyone in Rwandan/ugandan stores to see if they are selling Kenya seed maize?? WHY ARE THESE REGURGITATED STORIES SO SHALLOW??
