Comfortably Numb for Leaps and Bounds

KEITH, Jamie and Dave debut a Whiners V.2.0 at Leaps and Bounds - a United Way kick off event in September 2005. This clip turned up in our archives and we thought it tasty enough sound wise - though the video is shaky. We were the first band up that morning so runners and walkers and family and friends were just arriving.

Some might say Comfortably Numb at around 9 in the morning is too early but we thought it would go over OK.

We introduced the smog machine here too. We never get a chance to use it at the smallish places we play indoors. A bit of a breeze made the smoke dance.

Dave does a great Gilmour solo here and one of the reasons we love the song so much is that Gilmour solo.

We actually couldn't hear ourselves that well through the monitors but we pulled it off anyway via talking to each other. And talking to the dude hitting the smoke machine button. He kept running away from the machine - we wanted it pumping out.
