they could mimmick each other so well that in the making of horse feather groucho had appende cidis and chico put on his make up and wardrobe and finished the fil as both characters

From the set, it looks like it was from "Animal Crackers." That's the one where Groucho was Captain Spaulding. It's from 1930, so it's a rather early two-strip Technicolor, Multicolor, or Cinecolor.
