Spoke at City Council 1-15 regarding the Maps for Millionaires shenanigans....lots of good stuff came from it...

America can be a good place when myopic corporate interests aren't running everything....as is evident from this clip and my ability to participate in the functions of our society....note that I'd never be able to speak before a tyrannical group like the NBA board of governors.

That was a very intelligent speech you gave. Sadly they didn't take it too seriously, but I commend you for your efforts.

I'm biased because I'm a Seattle citizen and die hard Sonics fan, but I too agree with your stance. KeyArena does it's job, but Bennett just wants to squeeze this community till it breaks. His intent was bringing the team to Oklahoma, so there was no room to budge.

Qwest Field has been great for the community, and Safeco is great to watch a game, but this is too much.

The difference between making the city better and turning away from a scam artist can be blurred if you dont look twice, read twice and ask questions. Mayor Conelius and his gang want us, little tax payers to pay for the profits his friends projected would make him money when he is out of office. Oh but wait, the coat tails he was planning on riding former mayor Ghouliani, are no longer there. The firefighters, HONEST TAX PAYERS took care of that!

errr how many people are not for making our city better. You say that the only people making money will be Clay B and the other Oklahoma City Investors. That is wrong, do any of you know someone who works at a resturant with in 5 miles of the Ford Center? Well I plenty, and while the Hornets were here they made good money. That's right, some poor waiters made money, and guess what they did with it. They spent it, putting it back out in our city. Go away Steven.
