Scientology is not a religion. Scientology is a cult. Religions are not cults. There is a distinct difference. Scientology masquerades as a religion and tries to convince you they are one, but the fact is that they are a cult and not a religion.

@maurylaundry All religions are cults, just to varying degrees. Although there are psychological criteria to define a cult, in practical terms the real difference is simply the number of subscribers. Scientology is definitely one of the worst, both in terms of damage to the individual and the level of bat-shit craziness.
