Stockshot's timemachine neemt je mee terug naar 1976, kurkoogst in Tunesië.
Kurk is een licht, elastisch materiaal, dat wordt gewonnen uit de schors van de kurkeik (Quercus suber). Er zijn wereldwijd ongeveer 2.200.000 hectares kurkbos, o.a. in Portugal en de landen rond de Middellandse Zee. Jaarlijkse productie is ongeveer 340.000 ton.

Cork is an impermeable, buoyant material, a prime-subset of generic cork tissue that is harvested for commercial use primarily from Quercus suber (the Cork Oak), which is endemic to southwest Europe and northwest Africa.
