The Power Of Dyslexia about Famous Dyslexics

i am extremely dyslexic i have 2 types of dyslexia one were i see numbers upside down and one were i have trouble reading like in school i always read the same sentence twice and i feel so diferant because i am always taken out of class i always have a teacher around me and most people dont know so they think i am stupid :(

I have the same problem.. I SUCK AT MATH. and like you I'm not to big on reading. And to top it off i have VERY VERY hard time spelling. i have low self confidence too. I'm 15 and right now, and I'm all ready scared to whats going to come when i get older

I love this vid. I have a 9yr old son who may have dyslexia. I don't know how to go about getting him tested. Mostly they are throwing all these kids in one catagory like ADHD or just a bad kid who can't keep up with the other students!

I am 15 and i am dyslexic. They tested me when i went in for a eye exam, and they found out the one of my eyes were weaker than the other. Though testing and what not. They found i was in fact dyslexic. I am in all my regular classes in high school, I just have one study hall. Your son is VERY smart, no matter how fast or slow he picks things up I think you should stand your ground and say NO he is not ADHD. I think he is dyslexic. and get him tested some how if you can.

may just be me but although i may not be 'book smart' having dsylexia has made me paranoid that i'm going to get thigns wrong or made to feel stupid so i over think things alot. As a result of this i can now read and manipulate people very easy may just be me?

i found out that i was dyslexic like when i was 9 or sumin it dont mean your dum anyways its all kind of different things

Always trying to keep up with the best AP and honor students. The differences between me and them: I take 20 minutes to read and get a handle of a page, it took me several minutes to write this sentence and to proof it while my eyes dart from the bottom of the sentence to the top. Imagine if I had a time pausing machine, then it would be fair, but still disadvantaged... I am sad. I am mad. I am tired that I cannot do this faster and reasonable.

I made this super easy to read for ya all. Take a look at everyone's comments. We all have a super hard time with punctuation and grammar. Lack of commas :) and complex sentences. I must of added like 8-12 words and changed a bunch of spelling mistakes.
