I disagree. While tone is mostly in the hands, good equipment is also essential to good tone. HOWEVER. Having a 3000$ guitar and amp WILL NOT make you a better player, I think we can all agree on that.

@FroFrogInc Dude i know alot of people that swear good tone comes from the hand but not me...I think it helps but tone comes from the guitar and the way the strings ressonate through the wood and pickups

Mark Morton and Willie Adler from L.O.G. DO use a Mark IV's, both in studio (90% of Mark's recordings have been done trough a Mesa Mark IV) and in live shows such as The Download Festival (lots of space to crank up those tubes!!!) which leaves alot of stories to tell... anyway, MARK IV's ARE GREAT AMPS

Indeed, sir. Our demonstration does the amp no justice. But I hope it helps some players. At least it gives a sense of the voicing from the amp.
