  • i used it it does work yeaaaa kennn i love your stuff

  • @raurimckenna

your just telling us why your technique is shit!

  • @raurimckenna then you must be blind.

  • that hand transition could complicate if the guy is good, but still nice tecnique.

  • @TheBigPrettyOne nice...

  • @shechshire Well, I'm hardly an expert of Aikido. Nor am I pushing it as some kind of super art. I practice Muai Thai/BJJ myself. I think it really depends on what your taught. Sport styles like BJJ and Muai Thai, while effective 1 on 1 are not something I would try on the street, where things like knives and multiple opponents are game changers.

I'm not sure about the sensationalism, I think its worse with all the MMA fanboys than anything else. But that just my opinion

  • @m0nkey1eader thanks but, that's ok cheif. I've been around the block more than once and those arts like Aikido are mostly all hyped up asian sensationalism to me in my opinion. I mean, most if not all of thier techniques are very inpractical and not very realistic in an actual brwal not to mention the poor fighting tecniques like thier stances and punches.

  • @shechshire The Gi is essentially a jacket. People wear jackets/pants IRL. You will know dirty jacket/pants grabbing tricks (Colar chokes and etc). Gi will teach you less leg locks, a lot of no-gi stuff is illegal in gi. IMO train both...

If you are looking for some self defence, try Aikido, Kajukenbo or Systema. They appear to be a little more "combat" oriented, and are mainstream enough that you can find a gym.
