Short sell the Euro too and Go Long on the British Pound. The British Pound is probably your best bet if you want to bet that the price will go up, but as far as the US Dollar and the Euro are concerned, no way it goes up in the next year to 2 years.

We'll probably see some kind of new currency within the next 10 years and it'll be crazy. If you want to survive this whole mess, it's very simple. Buy up as much US Dollar currency as you humanly can and SHORT SELL. Basically you'll be betting that it'll go down (which it has and will keep going further and further south) and making profit off of the decrease in price of the dollar. I know it sounds horrible, but this is the best way to at least have something when it's all over and done with.

2 YEARS AND ONE MONTH AGO, THIS PREDICTION WAS MADE. I say the bankers have gone for broke and beyond as of 12/29/2011! @alimariegirl Why would I want to go to Europe ? It is worse in Europe than it is in the USA. The USA isn't having riots and thugs killing people in the streets like in England. The economies in Europe are worse off than the USA economy. Most of the countries in the EU are poor and have a standard of living well below the USA. Why would I want to go to Europe ?
