But, to play a fair game, i have to addmit that normaly houses in germany where build the massive way, using concrete, steel and stone, and not like most houses in the U.S. by wood and plastics. So normaly we don't have to worry about that the building collaps over our heads, while we fight the fire from the inside.
By the way, can anyone explain me, why houses in America where build this cheap an unsave? Is there now law or sth. which regulates how safe a house has to be?

I appreciate to see these FFs doing der job! One of the rare videos, in which the first thing they do, when they come on scene, is fighting the fire and not smashing all the windows and jumping around on the roof, for cutting holes in (even if i love to see them using our german finest chainsaws made by Stihl ;-) ). This what i saw here is like the way, we in germany fight a housefire, and i think we do our job successfulness and don't have to hide us behind other FFs in the world.

hmmm 10 minute video in that time i saw one house on fire at least 8 firefighters one huge fire truck with extended ladder. At first it seems to be only one hose going and two smashin out the windows? just a thought is to why with the size of the truck was there not 3 or four hoses running would the fire not be put out quicker?one fighter inside and two going outside would be better just curious no offence intended

You obviously haven't been in a fire cause the first 5 seconds shows that on the inside the whole house was rolling. That's no unburnt side to protect. Outside walls don't count as a save.

How in the world could anyone question how Detroit firefighters attack a house fire these guys are the most experienced on this planet up to 10 fires a night. Most depts. wouldnt have even considered doing an interior attack. detroit firefighters are top shelf and everyone else is looking up at them
