@coolpeopleit Nnoitra was stronger than Grimmjow and Ichigo had a hard time with him... So he probaly would have lost either way.

@HDGodStyle yeah but ichigo was weakened when he fought Nnoitra, and lets face it, a giant pumpkin man dosen't count as a worthy opponent for anyone

@tribamarina As the show goes on they claim that the majority of the charecters trippled - quadrupled from there original ability. At the time when they were fighting the Espada Byakuya, and Kenpachi either matched or surpassed Ichigo's strength (at the time) which can be judged by how Ichigo had a difficult time defeating Grimmjow when Kenpachi defeated a stronger enemy (Nnoitra) and later during the fight with Yammy it is made clear that Byakuya has a similar power level.
