I find it more effective to simply have characters that deal damage and should your supers be hitting low health, you simply use trust or if they have it, bless. My supers aren't evading unless they have alert on, personally. I am fine taking the hit and then hitting back harder. To each their own, I suppose.

@KingKizerKun Even with all of the defensive support in the world, you are still going to take similar damage from most attacks. Evasion is the only reliable way to minimize damage because it ensures you don't get hit. This is actually another reason why repair units are handy: Supers take a lot of damage. Like I said, Aphrodite generally does not get attacked, so all it has to do is move around and repair, occasionally using its awesome support SP (basically: trust trust bless). It's useful.

They don't need to evade. They never needed it. Raise their armor and give them things that boost their armor. I also prefer to move in one massive unit so being out numbered simply does not happen regardless of who I am currently attacking with. Kaiser himself pretty much doesn't take any damage if you raise health and armor.

@KingKizerKun Yeah, he does. Supers are shitty in this game unless you give them as much hit and evasion support as possible. They're powerful, durable, and tend to have multiple pilots, but they will get ganged up on A LOT and killed very quickly unless you do everything in your power to make sure they dodge attacks. All I have to do is make Diana move around and repair stuff, staying next to Kouji most of the time. She is an awesome supporter.
