holy cats this is a sweet machine but it seems like it would take way to much time compaired to a router guide...

I love my Jointmaker Pro. I love working with a different mindset.

I literally cannot stop thinking about the kinds of things I could make with this saw. I just put my e-mail address down for notification when this tool is made again. I wish I knew how long I have to wait until I can have one myself. Price is no object when the Jointmaker seems to be the answer to so many projects I had envisioned.

The saw is great, the technique is a bit cumbersome though. Instead of adjusting the angle of the fence for the pins, I'd set it square and use a tapered piece of wood for the angle. Then flip it end for end to get the opposite angle. Woodworkers are always making jigs to speed things up.

absosutly original
Mike: It is not clear to me what the combination of zer-clearance throat plate and the 1/8" shims under the entire set-up, when you're cutting the pins, adds to this process?????

The zero clearance throat plate lets you just eye ball the kerf next to your scribed line. It worked quite well. It is not totally necessary, it is just one way of doing it.
We just double stick taped it all down.
