My New Ride

I wish! It's my dad's new 1934 Ford Coupe that we just finished building. It took a little over 3 years to build from scratch.
It's a Deuce Customs fibreglass shell and the colour is Ford's Blood Orange.
It has a VN 5 litre with a moderate cam. The engine bay is completely detailed with all uglies(wires etc.) hidden. We have plans to bolt on a blower in the near future.
It has been dyno tuned and it ran 204 kw at the rear wheels.
We used the Holden motor because it's hard to fit a Ford motor in the narrow engine bay and we wanted a good balance between performance and economy.
It cost about $50K to build and has been valued at about $90K.

This ride represents everything that is wrong with australian street rodding,not only does it have a plastic body but they all look the same. Identical 3 inch chop ,

mandatory hidden hinges but antique stock door handles ,what tha fuck is that all about ? It makes my blood boil !!! any fool with money can put a kit car together or pay someone to do it ,BUT don't insult my intelligence by trying to pass this off as a ford when it has a repro body and Its running a Holden 5 litre V8.

@fractalign Fuck up. This isn't a kit car. It's the exact same building process as a steel body. If your viewpoint is that repro shells aren't Fords then fine, but don't come here and try and tell me this is easy to do or "Any fool with money can put one together". You're only showing that you know jack shit about Rodding.

BTW it's a bit hard to open the doors if you hide the handles too and since we're not allowed to expose the hinges, it's pretty self explanatory. What the fuck do you want?
