  • keep it up monica i am proud of you.

  • The war on street vendors is as much about classism as anything else. Street vendors are often poor immigrants with no other means to make a living. They don't work a regular job, so thus do not fit in with the status quo. Anyone who doesn't conform to the status quo is a target.

  • Any suggestions on how to deal with the authorities in a small town that won't allow street vendors? Their decades long argument has been that 1: vendors would cut into restaurant profits and 2: street vendors don't business property taxes so it would be fair. I think that street vendors provide a service that is environmentally greener than restaurant (no heat/air conditioning, dishwashers etc) and provides convenience and variety at an affordable price. AND can be done hygienically.

  • Good work Monica! I hope you do well!

  • I think it is ironic that this all took place in front of the Leica building. Leica, the german camera company, supplied many of the great pioneers of social commentary. Henri Cartier Bresson specifically.

    excellent video
