This reminds me of the universal translator in Star Trek. Since I am native german I can see how in incredibly accurate this system already works. Give it a few years from now and we see the direction where this leads to.
I am pretty enthusiastic about this technology. Good work done at MS Labs :-)

I'm sure this translation is immensely helped by the fact that English and German are closely related Indo-European languages, sharing much the same syntax...how does it work translating Swahili to English?
