The double decker Galata Bridge spans the Golden Horn in Istanbul leading to even more famous and fun sights. It carries traffic, the tram leading to Kabatas, the end of the line, and a constant flow of humanity on the top level. Fish restaurants and cafes on the lower level. Or...catch a ferry heading towards Uskudar. Take a boat tour of the Bosphurus.
Turn around while walking over and admire the mosques of Istanbul stretching over the Seven Hills, men fishing along the side, sea gulls crying overhead, and ferry traffic.
Beyoglu on the other side is the heart of modern Istanbul with galleries, cafes, boutiques, the famous Pera Palace Hotel and the Galata Tower standing out against the horizon.
