Some of these artists sound like they're being stangled or someone has stood on the cat.. My personal choice is Celine Dion, by far the wonderful smooth, perfect singer in the world.. Every seen one her concerts. .You'd be blown away, what a beautiful voive, not some squeeky screaming oddity.. She sings with beauty and grace..best you'll ever hear..

celine has a great voice...but the soul behind it ....guess it's just not my favorite style of voice ....never liked Barbara Streisand...again...some of this is just personal taste in a sound...they are no doubt all good quality singing....Christina A., Mary J. Aretha, Mariah ....these are all singers at the top for me :) Whitney does have a beautiful sound also....

Love Mary J because she does bring the soul from her heart. I totally love when she covered the ONE LOVE song. This is when I noticed her voice the most :) I also love Christina's voice and all the vocal agility :) love it ....Mini R. though appreciate her high notes, it is annoying when she uses it tooooo much...I would put Mariah above her voice any day :) Aretha is always good....hard to put these singers in an order but definately rating Mini & Chaka kan on the bottom...

This just proves that rolling stones magazine is irrelevant. The greatest female vocalist hands down is Barbra Streisand and this so-called magazine has just lost what little credibility it had.
