Thanks for the Memory reboot...I used to go fishing for channel cats there in the 50's & early sixties with my Dad...Note: my Dad worked on the original construction of this bridge/dam

@FishingwithKT Hi again, Today I went to dunnville and had some luck. 3 Walleye, 1 catfish and 1 sheaphead above the dam. The cat was almost 10 pounds. Walleye about 5 pounds and the sheaphead about 2 pounds. Usually I catch catfish below the dam which is why i was suprised. Btw, you need a boat to do some good fishing below the dam. If you dont have a boat, your best bet is to go above the dam. If your interested in what I use for catfish, walleye, etc. You can email me at rapalais1@hotmail.com

@FishingwithKT
I would say right where we were at the damn in Dunnville.
On the rocks or on the islands but you need rubber boots to get to them.

dunnville has been hot and cold for me sometimes good sometimes skunked when i was a kid i lived in canfield and the fishing was consistantly good but unfortunately that was 25 yrs ago and the fishing in southern ontario has declined all over.

@jangus894
I hear you.
I'm only 16 and i even saw the change in the population.
When i was a young lad (4-6) my Dad would have his trout limit for the day 2 hours after we got to the spot. now ill we do is get out lines wet. it's pretty sad.
