    Odo was always my favorite character. He is like a scout master, a sea captain, and someone so tough and yet you want to get to know him. You want to earn his respect. I always got a kick of seeing his tender sides, him joking around in rare occasions, and above all just being a killer detective and security officer. :)

    I loved him from his first scene.

    I started watching DS9 for the first time not too long ago. I wasn't too crazy about most of the characters at first, but they've all gradually begun to grow on me.

    With one exception. I liked Odo from the very beginning. This scene is a perfect example of why.
