Toronto takes to the streets when Men's Hockey wins Canada it's 14th gold in the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver. Canada breaks a world record for gold medals ever won in the Winter Games.

People crowded and shut down Yonge street for hours, honking, dancing, crowd surfing, playing street hockey and occasionally getting their booze dumped by peace keeping officers.

It was a proud moment for all Canadians!!

*One officer on their bike was injured below College on Yonge as seen at the end of the video.
Thanks to all Toronto police for their dedicated service to our city.

  • Anyone notice the homeless people participating? There's the one at the beginning announcing the game, and then there's the begger taking advantage of the cars stuck in the intersection! Oh I LOVE city life!!!

  • Great video! That was a wonderful night. Love the love around the city.

Very good editing and putting up the words there is cool too.

  • Loved this! You really captured the spirit of the evening.

  • Ahahahahaha. Canadians are always polite and for the most part civil. Even though that guy was inappropriately wearing a USA shirt in the winning country all we did was sing swears at him.

I'm just excited i caught it on tape.
