Dr Who convention 1997 held at the Picadilly Hotel, Manchester.
Ian Hu & Mark Lambert with Sylvester McCoy & Sophie Aldred.
We (tech crew) were in the green room between performances and Sylvester wandered in and came over and started chatting to us. A really nice genuine guy.

What you don't see, is me helping bring Sophie to the stage inside a bass case.
I helped her get in to it back stage.

You can just tell that Sylv's enjoying himself, can't you? Love!

    5/5!

  • Yes he was really enjoying himself. I got to chat to him and he's a nice genuine guy.

  • Aldred shaking her butt in tight leather pants. My life is officially complete.

  • Ah, 240p. We meet again.

  • Aldred in leather... YAY!

  • @bluevanman2008 Don't get many genuine actors anymore do we? I can name about...3.

  • Wow. Even when he's not the doctor, he's still "The Doctor". He owned that role. The physicality in his movements has me, as an actor/musician astounded at how he can do it at that age. Also, he's freaken adorable rocking out with his spoons.

  • Excellent taste in waistcoats! :D

  • Sylvester and Sophie ooze chemistry. This is a joy to watch but then anything with Sylvester in is a joy to watch.

  • Matt Smith and Orbital at Glastonbury eat your heart out! :P

  • Ah, this is brilliant! I also really love the version of the theme they're playing.
