Hotpoint Aqualtis Washing Machine Duvet Cycle

Hotpoint Aqualtis 9kg Duvet Cycle. I recorded the main part of the wash but it is over 10 minutes long and will not upload. Id shows the wash cycle with high water level and very fast sustained tumbling.

Was this a single or double duvet? Would a double fit in this machine?

@gaz52 Hi, This was a double duvet. Loads of space for it. This is the 9kg model. There is now an 11kg version too. I tried it with a king size but it didn't fit.

I have this machine and its brilliant ! I am in love with the bed and bath cycle and also the steam function. For the first time ever the iron button works unlike any other machine :)

@vaclover101 I've only ever used the steam button once but not a fan of the clothes coming out dripping wet. I do love it tho. very very quiet too.

I know it's a 'duvet'9kg cycle... but it seems to struggle..

@simonbaber I think its maybe the clip i've uploaded does not show it properly. I haven't noticed it struggle at all. It goes into a distribute speed while full of water creating huge suds and does a fantastic job on the duvet. I tried my king size..... Doesn't fit while there is loads of space with the standard double.

This is fantastic! I've just done a duvet cycle with a single in my new washing machine (Dyson) which has a special dedicated programme like your Aqualtis, and was amazed how clean it came out! Funnily enough, in the advertisements for Dyson, they claim to fit a king size duvet in its 7kg drum, but if you can't fit a king size duvet in your 9kg drum, there must be some false advertising going on! Anyway, fantastic video and machine. Saw the 11kg model in Currys yesterday!

@acameronuk1979 if u watch ur machine constantly it does make A DIFFERENCE because the machine goes into different distributons with in the wash cycle there for washing ur clothes faster and saving u time and money u dont get a good wash though with a quick wash coz its rushing the programme

@acameronuk1979 u need to cather all the corners of the duvet together properly otherwise it wont wash properly plus u forced the door onto the duvet !!! u will break ur machine if u carry on ! watch my video regards mat

@acameronuk1979 i have the same machine ha ha and its perfectly normall when new but smell wears off after a while dont panic
