CHP pursuit 7/16/11

Los Angeles police tired to pull this guy over in the San Fernando valley. He did not stop and the chase was on. Jumping on the 101 freeway LAPD turned the pursuit over to the california highway patrol once the suspect was no longer in the city limits. CHP then chases this guy all the was into the inland empire.after going south on the 15 he the turned around and went north on the 210 east them turned around again to go west an back south on the 15 to the 10 west. He drove all the way back to Los Angeles only to get on the 5 south to the 710 south then to the 105 west. He then ended up on the 110 north where he encountered heavy traffic but managed to get to the 10 east where he made it to the 5 north. The pursuit finally ended at the grapevine where the suspect gave up with out incident. this pursuit lasted about 3 to 4 hours. The footage you are about to see is when the suspect was on the 110 north between 51st street and vernon ave.

Sucks that the chopper lost footage, it was cool watching it live.
