'Screensaver 2.0' brings forward a reflection about immigration by using images of a popular software.
Screensavers are computer programs originally designed to conserve the image quality of computer displays by filling the screen with moving images when the computers are not in use, nowadays they are primarily used for entertainment.
The film erases the screensaver's whimsical nature to present a view of immigration from the inside. Bermúdez could recognize his homeland in the images, and it is the author speaking as an immigrant in Norway, who irrupts the playfulness of the tropical pictures.
