I love the awesome lightning flashes along with the rain-wrapped reddish-hued tornado you guys videotaped here....how soohhhh awesome..big big big time!!! When the tornado is rain-wrapped..that is when one is most likely to see the famous ''hook-echo'' seen on Doppler radar...that's been so famous over the decades of such major tornado researches... Again...excellent video ... I love it!!! Definitely worth a stellar FIVE-stars!!!

my g-pa is the sherriff and one of these tornados picked him and his truck up and threw him...it was scary! he wasnt hurt thank god

You can see how it's rain shrouded. That's spooky because you'll never know there's a twister amidst the rain. I hear that's how people get hurt because they never see it.

Where were you guys? I was in a group on this storm, right off US 283 7 miles south of WaKeeney when it touched down. We actually ended up getting hooked by it.

Not sure exactly as I wasn't running the maps. We were west off 283 by about a mile... not sure how far south of WaKeeney.
