I love how this game has 2 time limits. "Make sure the portrait doesn't disappear while simultaneously making sure the time meter doesn't run out!
Also, did people have to put up with shit like this in the 50s or whenever this part of the film took place?

It is winnable. If you hit 50 bullies. And even if you do, the game keeps going, so you have to hit 50 bullies, and then let them throw you into the door anyway. You can try to get a high score of up to 99 but there's literally no point to it.
