If I had known how easy it was to make Frangipani's I would have decorated my own wedding cake. Enjoy.

  • Thank you all for your comments. I really appreciate it and I am delighted this little video has been helpful for you. :)

  • Hi Raid12008, in those little pots...just good old plain flour! I found it was an easy way to dry the flowers without squashing them up on one side. It was also something I had on hand. The little pots are egg cups. You could easily just fill a dish with flour too. Have fun! I'd love to see pics if you waant to share. You can post them to my cake decorating ideas and tips page on Facebook. See link on the info section of my channel. Cheers K

  • Thank you to everyone who has made comments on this video. I really appreciate it. I am also delighted that you seem to like it. I hope to continue to improve and provide more videos that you will like - I'm just getting started in the video domain! Cheers. K

  • Hi Mandy, I would use the dust and make sure you let the fondant dry before dusting it on. Use a soft brush and start with just a little as you can add more to deepen the colour. Love to see pics if you'd like to share on my new Facebook page see link on the left. Have fun!

  • Thanks so much for your comment. I really appreciate it. I'm glad you liked the video. I have a few more videos to go up so keep you eye out for them (see the drop down arrows next to the "mylittlepartyplanner" name at the top - 3 so far. Bees, butterflies and roses are next. Teddy bears, frogs and crowns are coming after that). I hope they are all helpful and easy to follow. The main thing is to have fun. Cheers!

  • awwww awesome been wanting to know how to make frangipani flowers :) thank you very cool!!!

  • This video is great! Thank you so much for showing me how to make a pretty garnish for my husband's birthday cake. We have a giant white frangipani tree in our front yard...but I didn't want the neighbors to think I was using petals found on the ground! These are really life-like & you made it simple to understand!

  • Thanks! You're a lifesaver! My daughter wants a frangipani 3 tiered cake for her 13th birthday, your instructions seem easy to follow. The lady from the cake shop sold me paste colour not powder, should I go back and swap it?
