Hey there! What model of HP do you have? We can get back to you on how to replace the screen without those screws. Sometimes there's a spit between the bezel, and the metal casing. If you use an exacto knife, you can pry the two apart to replace the screen.

Give us a call at 1-800-834-4172. A rep can get you some pricing on the screen replacement!

So I replaced it just like you said, but now there are little traces of flickery lines when I turn it on. Is this because of the connection, or is it the screen itself?

Try reattaching both cable connections again. If you still see those flickerly lines, give us a call at 1-800-834-4172, and let the salesperson know about your issue. We'll get it corrected asap!

How much would it initially cost to take my laptop to Best Buy and have them do it for me?

Do you have a warranty with them? If not it can cost upwards of $200.

does anyone know how to do this with a tm2? I can get the whole "screen assembly" separated from the laptop, but I cannot for the life of me find out how to get the screen out of the assembly
