It sounds strange but using a special clay bar on the paintwork will remove stubborn contaminants and reveal a super smooth, glassy finish ready for waxing.

  • can i use soap with water in a spray bottle as lube?

  • @vtec2907 Yes, the car wash soap in a spray bottle would work ok. Just make sure the dilution is such that you get good lubrication and easy glide over the surface.

  • show the area of the car you want to clay bar.......spray the crap out the car.......show the dirty clay bar.......title the video "how to use a clay bar....?" EPIC FAIL. Maybe one nano second of actual clay bar footage.

  • @NITEOWL22LR When it get dirty, just fold it and crushed with your hands few times and it will be ready to use again,it really works great.Have fun with your vehicle.

  • how to get an aston martin like paul dalton

  • this dude stole my car......

  • @vtec2907 There are many ways to lube the clay; even soap and water work well. I tried the DoDo Juice Born Slippery Lube. A little bottle goes a long way. Once you use it, you won't use anything else. Cheers.

  • I take iron powder

  • are you supposed to use that small clay bar for the whole car? if so wouldn't it get very dirty and just but the contaminants back on to the car?

  • i cant see the car over ur nose

  • I'm disappointed you didn't demonstrate what to do next when one side of the clay bar is full of muck. I was going to give the clay bar a try as my washed surface does feel a bit rough. I don't go as obsessive over the finish as it's only a ford focus and not a supercar, but a clean car looks good. I will probably go for a diluted solution of wash'n'wax to use with the clay bar.
