PICAXE-08M directly driving (via suitable PULSOUT commands) an Electronic Goldmine sourced 4 wire bipolar mini-stepper motor. All circuitry running from just 3V ( 2 xAA) , & here uses parts from a modified "Electronic BrainBox" kit. The setup, which better suits a breadboard in fact, is extremely educational and easily modified to explore other stepper actions.
