White Bear Lake MN Video Report May, 2 2011 Crappie, Sunfish, Panfish, Pike

My buddy Arik and I went out after work and came into some nice crappie and sunfish. The spring has been extremely cold and the air temp was 36 degrees and water temp of only 44 degrees. The fish seemed to be pre-spawn and staging in about 8-11 feet of water. We caught most of the fish on small jigs with hair on them and waxies. It was a great evening out. We were selective in what we kept and threw the rest of the fish back. Check back for more reports of area lakes and the river.
