NaRhee Ahn, a Delaware native by way of Seoul, Korea, is on a mission to tell stories about the Korean American experience. PURITY is a romantic drama that meditates on what it takes to come of age in the midst of a crisis of faith, losing hope in love then finding forgiveness for yourself and others.

PURITY is about Grace Kim, the nineteen year old daughter of a Korean American minister who mourns her mother's death by refusing to leave the house months after the funeral. Her upsetting behavior incites the Youth Minister and her best friend to do everything they can to get her out of self-confinement but all their best laid plans end up putting her in the hospital. The only one left with faith in her is her black sheep ex-boyfriend. Against everyone's wishes she reunites with the only one whose own suffering gives her the kind of love she needs.
