Johnny Cash, b. 1924 in Highland, NY, gestorben 2008 in Lodi, CA. Er wurde im Mittelklasse-Amerika aufgewachsen, ausgesetzt zu Country-Musik in einem frühen Alter, singt mit seiner Familie in einer Band. Im Jahr 1948 gewann er einen nationalen Wettbewerb Geiger und schloss sich der Grand Ol 'Opry. Er hatte Hits mit Songs wie "Take This Bottle", "Was für ein Körper" und "Apache". Er wurde zu Vicki Furlow verheiratet und hatte eine lebenslange Liebe zu June Carter. Er starb an einer Überdosis.
