Love the video!!! Now that was great music!!! Why does someone have to always have to bring color/race into this? R&B happens to be my favorite music and Im mixed with Mexican&White but Im light like my mother doesnt make any less Mexican... You shouldnt judge someone cause you have no clue about their family history .... Should I not think its right for someone else of another color to sing Rock or Country because so and so sings it better.. Now how stupid does that sound...

@bigmaine1995 Crap you're right on Karyn White, I was trying to pull a list off the top of my head after work and remembered her being light skinned, didn't bother to look it up.
Still, to discredit Mariah Carey is a bit of a stretch as looking up her heritage, she's about a quarter black.
And in all, it still doesn't refute my point... you can be a great R&B singer no matter your skin color.

@rnbhaven she is 1/2 black. Because he mom is black she came out more white.

@Jdoug92 Which parent is black/white should have no effect on her overall complexion. And her mom is definitely not black, as she's super irish looking. Google Patricia Hickey and you'll find youtube videos of the two of them together. Her father is half venezuelan, half black. So Mariah Carey is 1/4 black, 1/4 venezuelan, 1/2 irish.
