A Russian KV-1 (Klementi Voroshilov) main battle Tank was found in the Neva river in Russia. It had been there since Autumn 1941, this tank was one of many that was sent to defend the Nevskij Bridge-head near Leningrad.

It's amazing all the war wrecks that are still hidden away from the scrappeers. They burn't all the Jap aircraft, deatroyed all the german aircraft, and cleaned up all the tanks in Europe. Just think all that valuable history destroyed by a blowtorch. They shoud have at least saved a few of each !
But in eastern Europe I think, because of the dense forest, and numerous lakes , there is still plenty of stuff to find. Just like in the isolated areas of the Pacific !
