Killer X was Frank Townsend, who wrestled in Japan in the early 60's. He was a baby face wrestler when in the US, particularly in the AWA . He unfortunately died very young at the age 0f 32 in a freak boating accident.
Wow! Wish you had the entire match! That was some great action! Gorilla looked AMAZING! He was nowhere near his 1970's 401-440 pounds here. Looked like an extremely powerful 340-355! His legs and shoulders looked super strong! Would love to see a singles match between him and Giant Baba from this period when the two big men could really move!
Who was Killer X? I'm guessing It was Dick Beyer.
Glad I found your page cause this stuff is awesome!
I would've liked to have seen a young gorilla vs vader. Two big guys who were quick for their size .

It's funny how all the oriental (Japanese) wrestlers have to toss the chops. You'd think jsut because you are oriental, you are a karate expert.

This was truly fantastic. Great seeing the team of Kowalski, Monsoon, and X together.

Bill Miller is a much better possibility, you're right. Thanks.
