Why World War II should never have happened and how the actions of the British, French, and Americans during and after WWI led to the sweeping popularity of Adolf Hitler.

Pat Buchanan lays out the case as to how WWII could've been avoided and so many lives could've been spared if we had been smart and adhered to the advice of the Founders and stayed out of entangling foreign alliances.

"Commerce with all, alliances with none should be our motto..." Thomas Jefferson

  • WW2 was a war against communism and we fought for the communist.

  • @Vebinz

Its incorrect in that context, but if you consider that the two world wars and the sheer idiocy of all sides of the wars, it was almost as if western civilization was going to tear itself apart or rather western governments were going to tear civilization apart.

  • WW 2 is the unholy grail of the neocons and their fellow travelers, hacks, and flunkies in Lame Stream Media, academia, and Mainlining politicians.

  • Not really accurate to say that the two world wars were a "Western civil war", given that they involved the Ottomans, Chine, and Japan.

  • @MikeMths35 They are in Germany now, whats the problem? btw. Franz Joseph spoke fluent Czech.

  • @kibicz What don't you understand about the Czechs being ruled by the Austro-Hungarian Empire before 1919? So the German speaking people in that region didn't want to be ruled by a Czech government, they had no problem with being under the authority of an Austrian Emperor who spoke German like themselves.

  • @MikeMths35 They were "trapped" in Czech speaking area since 1200s when they were invited by Czech nobility, After all german language become second office language in 1627, not before. Moreover, if they were insatisfied, they were free to move home = to Germany or Austria.

  • @kibicz I see German speaking people trapped inside the borders of Czechoslovakia, your word games are getting old CZECH.

  • @MikeMths35 You should read about compisition and disolution of Cisleithania first. Do you see any "sudetenland"?

  • @kibicz Germanic people are a connection to Germany and Hitler was an Austrian himself so he was enormously popular with Austrians. Read the book by Reinhard Spitzy.
