  • Hey, heybulldog13,

    The power is very restricted with TWO cat's, gutting the header cat and then replacing the stock exhaust (which has a 2nd catalytic converter) are simple basic mod's which will get your FZ1 closer to what it should have been right from the factory. Removing stock exhaust also gets rid of the exup.

    Depending on your exhaust choice, excess popping on decel can occur, there is also a simple fix for this.

    After that, an air box mod (I haven't done this yet) may also help.

  • Looks nice. I didn't gutted the cat. AN FCE is not mounted on my bike. RapidBike 3 does the job even better
