I don't know how and why, but after I heard this song back in the early 70s, it has stuck with me. When music availability thru downloading became easy, this was one of the first songs I searched. I have been listening to it very frequently now, but that melody and lyrics still brings, as autumnmyth described, melancholy, poignancy, and haunting feeling.

@lyhwa what seems like an interlude now... could be the beginning of love.

I have been looking for the name of this movie for years! Just found it and immediately ordered the DVD! Thanks for posting!
Indeed ... time is like a dream ...
Same feeling I had when I posted here (a year ago); which I never get tired of.
Had been coming back for the Nth time. So love this melancholic tune, a real timeless melody ... lyrics so sombre, so poignant, so haunting. Timeless!
Always a pleasure to glide back and reminisce the beautiful memories of 'caged' feelings (holding fast to those dreams .. that tastes and sparkles like wine ..."). Such were ... the interlude in my life. Peace from Autumn

The hypnotic music and lyrics of this song gently speak of the powerful beauty of beginning romantic love, and the importance of staying in the present moment. It's poignancy lies in the warning of the capriciousness of life and the ephemeral moments that must be treasured. It is one of the most beautiful songs ever written and remains etched in my heart forever.
