Those are far too bright. We have them here in Australia too, although they don't use them in such dense proportions or as brightly, so they work quite well. Apparently some Australian guy pioneered the solar panelled ones.
i just saw these for a tiny stretch in MN. It was great! It rains and snows alot here and lane visibility is pretty poor. We don't have reflectors for the lanes either because snowplows shear them off. I wonder how the lights will hold up?
