@5ohard2findau5ernam3 Hi.. I use windows, but the same programs can be used on mac too. I first simulated water coming out from the jug on to the plate in Realflow and created a mesh there. Then I imported the mesh in Maya.
In Maya, I created a fluid container and used the realflow mesh to emit fluid from it (emit from object)
@5ohard2findau5ernam3 - Depending on what kind of effect and look you are up for, yes, you can do it with Realflow or Maya. If you have a reference that you can show me, I might be able to guide you through.
If you are looking for flame thrower and have access to 3DS Max and FumeFX, it can be easily be done. Maya fluids can be a little tricky when it comes to controlling the shape and can involve emitting fluid from particles, which involves a little bit of MEL coding.
how do you do this? i want to make a
fire power effect..

does realflow work in this technique?
