Sony made their first recorder in 1955. The Pine Brook Motor Lodge was built one year later.

I have a Sears Solid State Cassette Recorder (similar to the first one shown here) and Im trying to figure out how to put the cassette onto the laptop computer. Do you know what wires are needed and what holes do they go in??

Use the line-in or mic-in on the computer and the earphone out on the tape recorder. It'd be better to use a higher quality cassette deck as it would have better frequency response and noise reduction.

my video camra is sick, it has an av input in it so i could record tv shows digitly . sweet music, did you make the music youre self? cool video, why is the picture quality so poor?

Some of the music was preformed by my friend. The picture quality is bad cause I had my camera in front of the TV. (this was before I could hook the camera into the computer directly)

Not bad. The music's pretty good too. I have a suggestion about getting VHS onto YouTube. Get a cheap DVD recorder, it doesn't need to be anything special, just as long as it uses DVD-R, not DVD+R, you could then copy the videos onto disc and then copy the videos from the disc onto the computer, edit and xvid them and then upload. Or you could get a video capture card (if you're Ok with taking the case of the computer), or a video capture that plugs into the USB.

Luckily since this video was made I have got a FireWire for my camcorder and can put VHS to camcorder tape, then transfer that to the computer.
