I have Vol 1, Vol 2 and the Gypsy method all with DVD and cd. They are amazing. Look around a lot before you buy, believe it or not some sites are selling one book and dvd for over £100. Amazon and ebay are the best but Vol 2 is sometimes hard to come by.

I wonder if I could get started with Book 2 only. For I want to get the DVD version, but two books will cost 100€. I play classical stuff only (if you exclude Flamenco of being classical).
I find the explanations of Herr Martinez very nice. And his guitar sounds awesome.

So have I, I saw a teacher do it. Its just the wider neck, you get used to the spacing. And thus going back and forwards would throw you off. Plus that smooth rolling sound. You wont get. But yes also it dos really dig on your nails. Plus the string tension is higher. I mean I dont know how to do it, but I know others who can.
